The Ginger Dog Tale

Following an early career in retail management for Debenhams, Ginger Dog Development Founder Sarah Rudder has been working as a highly successful learning designer, facilitator and coach for nearly 20 years with a wide variety of organisations around the globe and is known for her creative approaches to developing people.

In those early days of leading a team Sarah realised that what she was really enjoying was developing her people and seeing them grow into more effective versions of themselves.  So began a lifelong love affair with learning and development.  She moved from retail management into retail training and cut her teeth developing store management teams for Safeway before moving on to head up learning for a group of department stores in London. In 2004 she moved into consultancy and since then has worked with a broad range of organisations including Nissan and Molton Brown.

As well as her expertise in leadership and talent development Sarah has also developed a specialism in Mental Toughness.  Her creative workshops for developing this have been described as life changing for both managers and team members.  Sarah is also committed to increasing awareness, reducing stigma and developing mentally healthy workplaces.

Ginger Dog Development is ultimately the culmination of years of experience doing a job she loves and is built upon Sarah’s passion for making a difference and enabling people to be their very best selves.

Sarah works with a selection of hand-picked and trusted experts at Ginger Dog Development offering bespoke learning and development solutions that really make a difference to your business.

Sarah has recently facilitated a leadership development day with a number of our emerging leaders. Sarah's confident, calm presence has really helped the cohort maximise their learning. Sarah's coaching style with the group was truly brilliant. A real professional with a great sense of humour and uncompromising approach to delivering quality outcomes.
